Today's patch notes just fix one scoring exploit:

• If you destroy a package (e.g. by dropping it in lava), you no longer get awarded a time bonus for picking up the next package.

To be more specific, the game remembers how much time you were awarded for picking up that package and it makes you "pay back" that time before you start getting awarded time bonuses again. This fixes a scoring exploit where you could repeatedly throw packages into lava and pick up new ones, to generate more and more time bonuses.
