Demo update v0.2.7 released!
Version 0.2.7 of the demo is out! Here are the changes:
- Difficulty modes renamed to Bunny, Rabbit, Hare and Hyper. This is because I think these new names are cuter, and because I wanted more people to try out the Hare difficulty without having to brand everything easier than it as an "Easy mode"
- Added a 2 frame cooldown after each step before you're allowed to take another step. You can still attack or bomb during those 2 frames. This makes running away a slightly less effective strategy, without making it harder to take one step forward and attack an enemy, or step out of the way of an attack.
- If the final surviving enemy in a room is a cat or chicken, they no longer run away from you. This should make chasing down the final enemy in a room less tedious.
- Practice mode now lets you pick your starting position.
- The HUD now shows your high score.
- Volume controls readjusted to give you more control over the lower volume levels.
- Bugfix: Web browser demo no longer mutes the music when setting your overall volume to 10% and changing music tracks.
- Bugfix: removed the old non-functional "Allow Level Skips" assist mode option, which was a leftover from my previous game Ducky's Delivery Service and is already covered by Hyper Bun Buster's "Unlock Everything" option.
